While Chris Bryant has built a name for himself in real estate with Murney Associates over the past 25 years, he’s really in the business of helping people achieve their potential.

Bryant joined Murney in 2000 as a licensed Realtor, fresh after graduating from Drury University, and has been there ever since, rising through the ranks up to the leadership team, and winning Broker of the Year in 2024. He notes that working with the same company like this for his whole career means that he’s been able to grow up as a professional there. He even wrote a book capturing much of the wisdom he’s learned over the years, titled Dear Andi. Even so, real estate has never been the only thing driving him.

In addition to selling real estate, Bryant helped start LifePoint Church in Ozark in 2004, serving as a community pastor until 2018. It was in his service to the congregation that he really found what drives him: helping people reach their full potential.

“I love this idea that I know real estate and how to serve my clients in real estate, and I like helping people develop and grow, which my life as a pastor was all about,” Bryant says. “No matter what work you’re in, the main work you’re in is always people.”

With that in mind, Bryant added a new facet to his role at Murney. Alongside working as a real estate broker, he took on an additional role as a business coach to agents. Authenticity is the key to Bryant’s business coaching; he notes that while he certainly doesn’t have all the answers, he is on the journey with his clients to help find what works best for them. He also cites his less-than-ideal childhood as a “hooligan,” and the healing it took him to become the person he is today, as a significant driver in finding his purpose as a business coach.

“In my own journey, I have found such sweetness and purpose in helping others do the same,” Bryant says. “More than I care about real estate, I care about helping people develop, grow and become whole and healthy and happy. I’m a builder of people.”

What excites Bryant about his future is the opportunity to work with the next generation of people in real estate, setting them up for success.

“Growing a successful business means growing as a human, and great humans make great businesses,” Bryant says.
