C&H Plants

Cheri Hamilton's first job outside of college was operating a research greenhouse for Anheuser-Busch in Jonesboro, Arkansas. When she decided to move home, opening her own greenhouse seemed like a natural fit. She began C&H Plants with her husband, Tim, by planting a batch of chrysanthemums 30 years ago. Cheri's three adult children loved helping in the greenhouse as they grew up, and it's still a family affair. Cheri's two grandchildren love running around the greenhouse and planting flowers, and her daughter-in-law works there. The business is most known for its combo pots, and several customers even bring in their own pots for Cheri to work her magic on. She is always eager to share her plant care knowledge with her customers and horticulture students at Missouri State University (and she certainly has a lot of it, with a bachelor's degree in agronomy and a master's degree in plant science under her belt).
