Support Southwest Missouri Black-Owned Businesses

One way to amplify the voices of black people and people of color in 417-land is to support their businesses. We’ve gathered a list as a jumping-off point to get you started. This list was compiled using a few lists found on social media and fact-checked with the help of Minorities in Business. Do you know any others? Please submit them here. For more resources and information on how you can help, reach out to organizations like the Springfield chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Minorities in Business and the Unite Publication. Locals Duan and Michelle Gavel also created a website dedicated to black-owned businesses in Springfield.
