Springfield’s Greg DeLong Earns Family Wealth Advisor Designation with Morgan Stanley

DeLong completed an accreditation program that highlighted the particular skills required to help families communicate about money and values, share their goals and grow and protect their wealth across generations.

Greg DeLong, a First Vice President and Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management office, attained the firm’s Family Wealth Advisor (FWA) designation on March 30. To achieve the designation, DeLong completed an accreditation program that highlighted the particular skills required to help families communicate about money and values, share their goals and grow and protect their wealth across generations. Anita Oplotnik, branch manager of the Springfield office, spoke highly of DeLong’s achievement in a recent press release. “This is an exceptional achievement for Greg and an attestation of his ongoing commitment to serving the unique needs of our clients and their families,” she said. “Greg has demonstrated a disciplined, diligent approach to understanding how family circumstances and dynamics can influence and impact short- and long-term personal and financial goals. His proven ability to work with families to develop a framework for their financial future helps to set him apart from others within the industry.” DeLong holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Westminster College and an MBA from the University of Missouri, and he has worked in the financial services industry for 30 years.
