Three local tech junkies need your help to win the Global Startup Battle Championship for their development of a streamlined audio chat tool called Eagle Speak. Eagle Speak is a communication platform that allows users to receive and respond to real-time voice messages without having to abandon open applications, search for instant-message windows or correct typos, thereby increasing focus and productivity.

Eagle Speak was first presented during Startup Weekend Springfield, where it earned first place, the Audience Choice Award and a spot to compete in the Global Startup Battle Championship. The development trio includes Myke Bates of The Alchemedia Project, Brandon Cash of 40 Digits and freelancer Jason Arend.

Global Startup Battle is worldwide competition showcasing the most innovative and promising start-ups to come out of the Startup Weekend events.
