Helping people is core to Amprod’s mission as an organization, and their recent donation to sponsor renovating a Habitat for Humanity house is just the latest example of how they’re making that happen and offering opportunities to employees to have an impact in their community.

Tiffani Claussen, president and CEO of Amprod notes that Habitat for Humanity approached the organization early in 2025 with the opportunity to sponsor the complete renovation of a house for $50,000. This donation not only helped to cover a number of expenses for the house, including new flooring, appliances, fixtures and other furnishings, but it also offers an opportunity for employees to volunteer.

“Our team has consistently volunteered with Habitat for Humanity over the past few years and now we get to volunteer on a house that Amprod is sponsoring,” Claussen says. “It’s fun to sponsor financially, but it’s also good to volunteer time so our team members can see the impact we’re making in the community.”

Amprod’s relationship with Habitat for Humanity started when they implemented their Community Action Time program in 2020, allowing employees two days a year of time off to volunteer in the community. Since this program was created, Claussen notes that Amprod has been able to offer support to 10 organizations locally, with Habitat being one of the most popular options.

“Being in manufacturing, we like doing things with our hands and putting things together; it’s part of who we are,” Claussen says.

As for others looking to make a similar impact and give back to the community, Claussen notes that often the hardest part is finding the right organization to support. With that in mind, she recommends looking for local groups and organizations that fit with your company’s values as a good starting place.

“We definitely started slow, based on the values of the organizations we wanted to work with, and Habitat matches our core values very closely,” Claussen says.
