Calamansi Daiquiri Recipe

Whip up a Calamansi Daiquiri for a taste of the Philippines.

Daiquiri is one of my favorite cocktails, mostly for its simplicity but also for the beautifully balanced flavor with just three simple ingredients. The use of Calamansi juice gives this total classic a unique and delicious twist, and it’s so easy. Cheers!

• 2 ounces white rum
• ¾ ounce calamansi juice, store bought frozen and thawed at room temp
• ¾ ounce simple syrup
• Ice as needed
• Lime for garnish


• Cocktail shaker
• Jigger
• Cocktail strainer
• Coupe glass


1. In a cocktail shaker, add rum, calamansi juice and simple syrup.
2. Top the shaker with ice, and close it completely.

3. Shake rigorously until the shaker becomes too cold to handle, about 20 seconds.
4. Strain the cocktail into your coupe glass. Cut a thin lime slice and place it on top for garnish.
