The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Missouri Department of Labor will recognize Springfield-based manufacturer HOLLOWAY AMERICA as a certified Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) Employer during a private ceremony on January 21. The company, which custom manufactures stainless steel pressure tanks and equipment, will receive the distinction for its outstanding shift in safety culture in accordance with OSHA's services. This certification increases health and safety standards for HOLLOWAY employees and serves as a recruiting tool. HOLLOWAY is among fewer than 40 Missouri companies to earn the SHARP-employer status.

Representatives from OSHA, the Missouri Department of Labor and SHARP are scheduled to speak at the ceremony. Representatives of Senator Roy Blunt and Senator Claire McCaskill will also be in attendance.
