Springfield First Community Bank and the O’Reilly family announced today that they have broken ground on a large-scale hospitality project in Denton, Texas. O’Reilly Hospitality Management, LLC will manage the development financed by Springfield First Community Bank. The site will feature a 318-suite Embassy Suites Hotel, a 70,000-square-foot convention center and a Houlihan’s restaurant. Tim O’Reilly, CEO of O’Reilly Hospitality Management, LLC, says Denton has values and success similar to Springfield. “We fit in in Denton,” he says.

Embassy Suites Hotel and Convention Center will be LEED Gold–certified and have sustainable features, such as solar panels on the roof to provide 15 to 20 percent of the building’s energy. “This project embodies our principles as a company,” O’Reilly says regarding the focus on being eco-friendly.

O’Reilly says he has been developing this project for years and was searching for financial partners when Rob Fulp, Chairman and CEO of Springfield First Community Bank, called and said the bank would be a partner. “It has been a pleasure to bank with the O’Reilly family for the last 25 years,” Fulp says. “It is a privilege once again to partner with the O’Reilly family on this beautiful project.” This project is the first to involve the entire O’Reilly family. Other partners include the City of Denton, Hilton Worldwide, Butler Rosenbury Architects, Clark Construction Company and Houlihan’s Restaurants.
