As more businesses, shops and restaurants open doors downtown Springfield, 417-landers are looking to live in the heart of the action. However, a limited number of vacant spaces means developers are having to think inside the box by taking shells of historic structures and turning them into new residential spaces. With Sky Eleven and Heer’s Luxury Lofts offering top-of-the-line amenities, The U @ Springfield providing professional development programs, The Sterling fostering a shared community lifestyle and Frisco Lofts providing universal housing for people of all abilities and incomes, these new spaces are sure to revitalize downtown.
