In March 2016, downtown staple Springfield Brewing Company is expanding west into the space adjacent to its McDaniel Street building. Eight new brewing tanks from Paul Mueller Company have been purchased to go into the expansion, an addition which Bryan Bevel, Springfield Brewing Company co-owner, says will help Springfield Brewing Company cater to more customers and keep up with distribution demands. Construction is slated through March 2016.
