A couple days off of school for Spring Break can be either warmly welcomed by a parent or their worst nightmare. Luckily, we have you covered either way. Try out Dickerson Park Zoo’s four-day camp built for fifth and sixth graders interested in becoming a veterinarian. Campers assist zoo staff with various tasks like physicals, blood tests and radiographs and even receive a zoo casebook. Closed-toe shoes are required, and send your child with a packed lunch and drink. Register soon because programs similar to these occasionally sell out.
