A team of nine high school girls gathers at an indoor soccer field for warm-up exercises before their weekly games. Over the course of the season, their individual identities emerge through overlapping conversations that range from speculation about the new girl to gossip about their coach, from silly gross•out humor to discussion of world events. While the girls go through their stretching routine, their banter reveals a mix of insecurities, bravado, conformity, rebelliousness, candor, secrecy, friendship, competition, loyalty, betrayal, pain, intelligence and fierce determination.Adolescent energy and emotions run high in this critically acclaimed exploration of girl power, growing up and what it means to be part of a pack. You’ll be rooting for The Wolves!
