About This Event
What is a Swallow Hole? How does our unique region help form geo-features like this? Join the James River Basin Partnership (JRBP) on Friday, March 16, 2018, from 6:30pm - 7:30pm, at the Springfield Conservation Nature Center’s Auditorium. Please arrive early through the East Entrance doors to ensure your seat (140 max capacity). Doors open at 6:00pm.
Water quality author and educator, Loring Bullard, will showcase photo and video progression of the growth of this Swallow Hole over the last year - while informing on our unique, local karst geography and hydrology. JRBP’s Executive Director, Tiffany Frey will provide information on the current Wilson’s Creek Implementation Project 319 grant - including volunteer opportunities later in 2018 that community members can get involved with.
Each person who attends will receive 1 door prize raffle ticket to be entered to win a Bass Pro Shops door prize! When you join as a JRBP member during or before the meeting, receive 3 tickets to win! https://www.jamesriverbasin.com/membership/
