Biz 417 Announces New Name for Ladies Who Launch

New Name, Same Incredible Experience

At the ninth annual Ladies Who Launch, Biz 417’s publisher Logan Aguirre announced a new name for this women's leadership conference: Pretty Brilliant. Biz 417 started Ladies Who Launch nine years ago with the mission of creating content, community and conversation for women in business in 417-land. From that first event with 250 women to what’s now a two-day conference retreat at the Branson Convention Center bringing more than 800 women together, the time was right for a new name. “This has grown into a community of women in business caring for each other and unabashedly celebrating what makes women in business pretty brilliant,” says Aguirre. “We needed a name to capture all of that. It needed to be a conversation and a compliment, a cornerstone of a community reflecting each person in it.” Aguirre says they didn't have to look too far. 

The name reflects the phrase heard most often from women experiencing the event. They hear something on stage and think it, they meet someone new and think it, someone says the thing they couldn’t quite put into words, and there it is again. 

 With the new name comes an updated website and a brand new Instagram channel, @prettybrilliantofficial, the date for next year’s event is set for July 21–22, 2027 at Branson Convention Center. Tickets go on sale in November.
