Matt Rush, Account Manager with Ethos Laboratories and Player with the Ozarks Lunkers

Matt Rush, Account Manager with Ethos Laboratories, has found his time on the field with the Ozarks Lunkers helps his time in the office. “I’m able to disengage,” Rush says. “Obviously my mental headspace and how I carry myself is totally different. It’s like I’m able to tap into a different side of myself, because on the football field it’s no worries, you’re just out there playing.” Rush played for Hillcrest High School, Missouri State University and other semi-professional and arena football teams before joining the Ozarks Lunkers as their Money Quarterback, playing a little bit as both quarterback and receiver. “I’ve been playing the sport for so long that I’m at a point where I don’t really have to think,” he says. “My body just kind of reacts to what’s going on around me when I’m on the field, so I’m able to disengage and just go into a different world.”
