4 By 4 Brewing Gives Back Through Bingo

Each month, 4 By 4 Brewing Company hosts “Good in the Hood” bingo events at their two locations—Galloway or Fremont Hills—where the proceeds raised go to local charities and schools. At their Galloway location, bingo nights are the first Thursday of each month, and at the Fremont Hills location, they are the second Thursday of the month. 

Bingo consists of three rounds with three different games played on each card. All people are welcome to come and participate. Game nights are free, and players earn additional bingo cards when they give cash donations. 4 By 4 also creates social media posts of additional items participants can bring to offer more support for the chosen charity that month. Bingo winners receive prizes like free beer, merchandise, gift cards and more. 

In addition to the opportunities for donating to the charities, 4 By 4 creates and sells a custom beer for the entire month, and the chosen charity earns 10% of sales from people who purchase the custom brew. All the cash raised for both bingo nights along with the percentage of the charity beer adds together to be the total amount raised for the charity that month.

Ozarks Food Harvest is an organization that has partnered with 4 By 4 and experienced the benefits of working alongside them. Through their partnership, they were able to raise over $2,000. “That provides more than 6,000 meals for our neighbors to get encumbered in southwest Missouri,” Marketing and Events Manager Sarah Green says.  Additional supporters donated money directly to Ozarks Food Harvest as well. Green enjoys being able to participate in a couple of the bingo nights through outreach and participation. “You have a good time and you’re giving back at the same time,” Green says.
